Recruitment Process

Application

Step 1

Learner express's interest by filling in the online application form or forms are sent out to potential learners on request, within in 5 working days .

On return of application forms, a letter is sent out to successful applicants within 10 working days.

Testing

Step 2

If learners are successful they will be invited in to centre for initial assessment, along with informal discussions regarding information, guidance and advice for all applicants.

All applicants will receive formal notification on testing results within 5 working days.

Interviews

Step 3

Successful applicants will be invited for interview at Oldham Training Centre within 5 working days.

Selection

Step 4    

OTC will successfully match your requirements to an employer vacancy wishing to take on an apprentice. This is excluded in Employed Status situations.

Successful applicants are required to produce a C.V., this will be checked and approved by an appropriate member of staff.

Successful applicants are matched to vacancies with reference to the Job Specification Form as supplied by the individual company.

Employment

Step 5

Successful candidates are appointed by employer and notified of induction by the Recruitment Officer after consultation with their Training Advisor.
