Apprentice Maintenance Engineering
About the company:
Farrel Limited offers development in the polymer processing industry. The Company researches, engineers and manufactures processing equipment for primarily the rubber and plastics industries.
This vacancy is for a Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET)
Hours of work:
Mon-Thur 8am – 4:30pm
Friday 8am – 1:00pm
The Job Role will entail:
- Assist in manufacture of specialised machinery
- Carry out maintenance, fitting and assembly
- Metal fabrication
- Maintenance, Electrical, Fitting and Machining
- Able to read engineering drawing
- Work to high level of quality
- Modifying parts for specific applications
- Acquire mechanical/electrical experience
- Carry out test and work from technical drawings
- Servicing and repairing client equipment from heavy plant machinery and general mechanical work.
- Working onsite and on occasion when required offsite at customer premises, located worldwide.
- Basic metalwork functions, drilling and tapping
- Work in a safe manner in line with Company’s Health & Safety policies
