Farrel Limited offers development in the polymer processing industry. The Company researches, engineers and manufactures processing equipment for primarily the rubber and plastics industries.

This vacancy is for a Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET)

Hours of work:

Mon-Thur 8am – 4:30pm

Friday 8am – 1:00pm

The Job Role will entail:

  • Assist in manufacture of specialised machinery
  • Carry out maintenance, fitting and assembly
  • Metal fabrication
  • Maintenance, Electrical, Fitting and Machining
  • Able to read engineering drawing
  • Work to high level of quality
  • Modifying parts for specific applications
  • Acquire mechanical/electrical experience
  • Carry out test and work from technical drawings
  • Servicing and repairing client equipment from heavy plant machinery and general mechanical work.
  • Working onsite and on occasion when required offsite at customer premises, located worldwide.
  • Basic metalwork functions, drilling and tapping
  • Work in a safe manner in line with Company’s Health & Safety policies
